Ally Martin has been conected with Broughty Ferry YMCA since 1953.
He joined Broughty United, a football club affiliated to the YMCA in 1958.
He served as player, Secretary during the mid 1960’s to 1970’s and also President of the Club.
He played in every decade from the 1950’s to 2000’s.
He also has served over 30 years on the Committee of The Midlands Amateur Football Association.
His enthusiasm and dedication is still present after all these years.

Ally was a runner up for the award but he will always be THE WINNER by past and present Broughty United players and supporters.
