Volunteering

We greatly rely on volunteers in supporting our work here at YMCA Edinburgh. Last year we had 132 volunteers that have helped us in various roles who together have committed over 9,863 hours. From  the Board of Management to Mentors – Volunteers are the backbone of our  organisation. We are committed to ensuring your time at our  organisation is as helpful to you as it is to us and try to support our  volunteers throughout their time with us.

YMCA Edinburgh welcomes volunteers to support our work and you can find information below about the current volunteering roles available with full role descriptions. Please note that if the post you are applying for has regular contact with young people, then the post will be subject to a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check.
