YMusic Project

Since its inception, The YMusic Project has provided 1-1 tuition to the young people of Glenrothes and surrounding areas, allowing them to learn guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, singing and music production as well as providing music workshops, resources and rehearsal space for young bands and artists, all for free!

All lessons are provided by our talented and passionate team of tutors.

Having these activities openly available to the public has also created a social hub for young musicians to meet and play together in an inclusive and safe environment.

Since launching in 2024, The YMusic Project has proudly aided over 100 young people in developing their musical skills and building their confidence, a first year we are incredibly proud of.

In this time, we have also had our young attendees perform in 2 showcase performances with audiences of over 70 people in attendance for each.

The YMusic Project runs every Wednesday evening from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, with band rehearsal spots available on Wednesday nights from 8:00pm – 10:00pm. Why not come along and join in the fun!
