YMCA Scotland National Assembly 2024

We were thrilled to host the recent annual National Assembly weekend, held in Stirling, where YMCAs from across Scotland came together for a momentous occasion filled with camaraderie, storytelling, and celebration of successes.

The gathering provided the opportunity for YMCAs to connect, socialise, and exchange inspiring stories of impact and achievement.

It was a time to reflect on our collective journey, celebrate milestones, and chart the course for our shared future.  The atmosphere was electric with energy and enthusiasm as members from various YMCAs shared their experiences, challenges, and triumphs over the past year.

We were also joined by our guest speaker, Chris Birt, Associate Director of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

Together, we reaffirmed our commitment to the values of inclusivity, youth empowerment, and community building that lie at the heart of YMCA Scotland, focussing on the four pillars of Community Wellbeing, Meaningful Work, Sustainable Planet and Meaningful Work.

We look forward to carrying this momentum forward as we continue to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities across Scotland.
