70% of YMCAs in Scotland provide a range of traditional youth clubs, drop-ins and street based youth work activities. These clubs and activities are open access to all young people and are often the first point of contact between young people and youth work services.
We believe that every young person should have someone that they can trust. That is exactly what YMCA youth mentoring programmes provide for 360 young people across Scotland.
Across Scotland, YMCAs deliver a range of health programmes from physical activity to issue-based programmes tackling issues like obesity or sexual health.
14 YMCAs provide vital childcare, playwork and holiday programmes to over 3,000 children every week.
YMCA Glenrothes provides temporary supported accommodation for up to 60 people each night in hostels and shared flats.
