Y’s Girls is now officially an award-winning project having been voted the Family and Youth Work Project of the year at the 2022 Youth Matters Awards!

YMCA Scotland’s CEO, Kerry Reilly was also in attendance at the awards presenting the Diversity Award.

YMCA Y’s Girls Mentoring Programme

We were joined with colleagues from YMCA England & Wales, YMCA St Paul’s Group, and YMCA East Surrey

YMCA Scotland has approved a new Strategic Plan that is aligned with the World YMCA Vision 2030.  The plan was developed in consultation with local YMCAs across Scotland.

YMCA Tayside has officially launched a programme specifically developed to offer help and support to young women and girls at risk of developing mental health issues, and is now recruiting mentors locally.

On the weekend of 23-25 April, don your finest tartan garments and take on a sponsored – socially distanced – challenge. It could be a walk, run, or even sponsored trampoline jump, raising money for YMCA Scotland’s work with young people and children! 

YMCA Tayside has launched Y-Xplore, a new programme designed to reach and inspire vulnerable young people in its community through outdoor education, life coaching and personal development.
